He is survived by: his mother Marianne Merk (Benson); his wife Brenda; his pet Charlie; his daughters, Cassie Bernard (Kenny) and Christina Landrigan (Jake); his grandchildren, Jacob, Isabelle Rhodes, Trissa Gayheart, Hallie, Kenlie Cook, Hannah, Sarah Landrigan, Dalton and Layne Bernard; and his brothers, Paul and Ron.
