He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carroll and Laura Jean Patterson Rector; and his siblings, Terry, Sue and Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Anne Bruce Moore of Madison, Indiana; his son Michael Rector (Brittney McClintock) of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Kailyn Rector, Felicia Rector, Allie Rector and Whitney Rector; his stepdaughters, Rebecca Alexander (Jeff) of Milton and Jennifer Mason (Monty) of Madison, Indiana; his stepgrandchildren, Balie Adcock and Abby Mason; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Henlee and Elaine; his brother George Rector of Princeton; and his brother-in-law Robert Bruce (JoAnna) of Texas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tim Rector Remembrance Fund.
