He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Timmons (Boyd) and Louie J. Timmons; and his brothers, Nicholas Timmons, Louis Timmons and Bobby Timmons.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Timmons (Shafer) of Marion; his children, Pat Helmer, Jeremy Timmons (Kalyn), Jenifer Smythe (Buck Bates), Lessa Bobak (Robert) and Chaya Ybarra (Steven) of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Megan Kidd, Scott Ehmer, Tobby Ehmer, Christian Timmons, Nathaniel Timmons, Olivia Bobak, Lily Bobak, Maggie Marty (Max), ShiAnne Seymour (Ronald) and Cody Smythe; his nephew Billy Johnson (Amber); his niece Jennifer Wickman; and his sister Ada Shafer. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
