She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Suarez and Josefina Suarez (Gonzalez); her husband Alfonzo Velasquez; and her brothers, Basilio, Humberto, Juan, Luis Suarez and Real.

She is survived by: her children, John L. Velasquez (Megan), Edie Velasquez and Marisol Hernandez (Tommy); her grandchildren, Catalina Velasquez, Arianna Faust (Matthew), Juan Velasquez, Luis Velasquez and Carlos Hernandez; her great grandchild Myrah Amparo Renée Faust; her siblings, Rosa De and Jesus Suarez (Real); her pet Gaia; and her friend Donna Molner.
