Barbara leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Barbara’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Barbara will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hayes and Helen Hayes; and her husband John Boyd. She is survived by: her sons, Rich Pollett and Norm Pollett (Jo); her stepson Jim Boyd (Jenny); and her siblings, Marsha Moore (Roger), Sam Hayes (Barb) and Tom Hayes (Jean). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Barbara's memory to a charity of their choice, reflecting her generous spirit and dedication to helping others.
