She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Phillabaum and Wilma Phillabaum (Little); her husband James E. Pearson; her sister Bernadine Brankle; and her brothers-in-law, Donald Brankle and James Shaw.

She is survived by : her daughter Sandra K. Briggs (Everett) of Marion; her grandchildren, Stacie B. Watson (Dennis) of Marion and Christopher Briggs (Peggy) of Marion; her great grandchildren, Kaytlin Swick (Darren) of Lafayette, Elissa Frank (Zachary) of Athens, OH and Colin Briggs of Marion; her great great grandchild Elena Swick; and her sister Ermajean Shaw of Fort Myers, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
