She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Sherick and Eda Sherick (Adams); her husband Richard A. Carper, Sr.; her children, Clifford D. Carper (Kristy), David R. Carper and Mary Beth Madison; and her siblings, Leslie Sherick, Harold W. Sherick, Mary Secaur and Norma R. Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Richard A. Carper, Jr. (Amanda) and Betty Jo Fleener of Marion; and her sister Helen Cassidy. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
