With sadness, we share the passing of Carolyn J. Shaw in Marion, Indiana. Carolyn, born on November 15, 1937, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion E. Elliott and Audrey J. Elliott (Marshall); her son Bret Dee Shaw; and her siblings, Mary Jane Cook, Barbara Lakin and Richard Elliott.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Dee Shaw of Hartford City; her daughter Julie A. Kestle (Craig J.) of Logansport; her grandchildren, Rachelle Gordon (Eric), Macy Kestle, Cassidy "Cass" Kestle and Elijah Kestle; and her great grandchildren, Lucy Gordon and Liam Gordon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Keplinger Funeral Home (509 N High St, Hartford City, IN 47348). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
