Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Carrie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Black and Willie Black (Hudson). She is survived by: her daughter Nokia Black (Rochelle) of Anderson; her grandchildren, Kiera Black of Indianapolis, Kiana Black of Indianapolis and Devante Black of Marion; and her sisters, Annie Lenoir of Indianapolis and Carolyn Black of Anderson. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Missionary Baptist Church (1204 W 14th St, Marion, IN 46953). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
