He was predeceased by: his parents, Siebert Kershner and Dorothy Kershner (Freeman); and also Dorothy Kershner (Freeman). He is survived by: his wife Sue Kershner (Fite) of Marion; his sister Barbara Hess (David) of Warren; his children, Mark Kershner (Teresa) of Newnan, GA, Christopher Kershner (Jennifer) of Pensacola, FL, Alexander "Kip" Kershner (Samantha) of Upland, Michelle Fahey (Sean) of Carmel and Jennifer Beck (Joseph) of Zionsville; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Marque, Trey, Dylan, Kaycee, Kendall, Presley, Reagan and Chase; and his great grandchildren, Miles and Adaline. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marion-Grant County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1921, Marion, IN 46952. Keep Charles's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
