He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Nash and Audra Nash (Hall); his wife Bea; and his siblings, Claude Jackson Nash, Jr. and Rosa Camille Hunnifeld.

He is survived by: his son Gary W. Nash (Cindi); his grandchildren, Shelly Rogers (Ron Reese), Doug Nash and Melissa Lamb (Kelly); his brother Kenneth Nash; his granddaughter Diane Foreman; his stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Yocum (Kevin) and Leah Hiles; his great grandchildren, Jenna Jackson (Bryan), Megan Rogers (Marcus Sanders), Erika Rogers (Josh Randolph), Morgan Lamb, Alex Lamb, Riley Lamb (Ahmad Nunnally), Brittany Nash (Austin Armstrong), Dylan Nash (Hannah), Zack Nash and Sophia Nash; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Matthew Yocum, James Mills, Savannah Herrera and Troy Mills; and his great great grandchildren, Carter, Ty, Brady, Emmiett, Delilah, Jude, Noah, Luke and Demi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
