He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlen H. Lanter and Nadine Sherron (Merrill); and his brother Merrill D. Rittenhouse. He is survived by: his siblings, Toni Duke, Thomas H. Lanter, Marion and David F. Lanter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
