With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Salter of Marion, Indiana, who passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Salter and Mary "Jib" Salter (Hardin). He is survived by: his wife Betty Salter of Marion; his children, John Salter (Kristy) of Marion and Kathryn Patterson (Matthew) of Marion; his brother Mike Salter of Gas City; his grandchildren, Angela Salter, Trey Salter, Johnathon Salter and Zoey Salter; and his great grandchildren, Payton Cotton, Daniel Cotton and Aria Salter.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Y.M.C.A. of Grant County, 123 Sutter Way, Marion, Indiana 46952 for the Parkinson's Rock Steady Boxing Program.
