She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Howell and Billie Jean Howell (Mills); and her brother Danny Howell. She is survived by: her close friend Roger Pence; her sons, Joshua McMurray of Marion, Ryan McMurray of Gas City and Larry Pence of Amboy; and her brothers, Dana Howell and Dean Howell. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
