Donald F. Scott Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald F. Scott of Marion, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Scott and Sadie Scott (Hayes); his stepdaughter Gayle Hickman; and his siblings, Gene Scott, Jim Scott (Marilyn), Ed "Huck" Scott (Paula), Ruth Graff (Russell) and Carol Gosnell (Charlie).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Scott; his children, Sandy Thompson and John Scott; his stepchildren, David Brandenburg and Stacey Breck (Rob); and his niece Denise Alter (Bill). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 3:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Marion Elks (1100 E Bond Ave, Marion, IN 46952).
