He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hoose and Freda Van Hoose (Kunkle); and his sister Carolyn Shafer. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Campbell Lowry; his sons, Matthew Van Hoose (Allison) of Springfield, VA and Tommy Van Hoose (Brandi) of Norfolk, VA; his grandsons, Connor and Brady; his siblings, Sandy Clevenger of Marion and Les Van Hoose of Suffolk, VA; and his nieces and nephews, Donia Schloot, Terry Titus, Leigh Ann Wearly, Bill Shafer and Josh Van Hoose.
