With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Max Sommers in Marion, Indiana, born in Hicksville, Ohio, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Flossie Naomi Sommers (Thomas) and Edward L. Sommers; his wife Geneva Sommers; and his siblings, Russell Gray, Wayne, Everett Sommers, Tom Gray, Mary Nuckles, Madeline Bley, Mae Ohnek, Phyllis Wells, Dorothy Roemig and Doris Joan Hickman.

He is survived by : his son David Sommers (Sandra); and his granddaughters, Betsy, Carly, Kit Sommers of Indianapolis and Charlotte.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Services (229 S Rangeline Rd, Anderson, IN 46012). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 6600 Trier Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815.
