She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shelley and Willie Shelley (Cooksey); her stepmother Letha McGill-Shelley; and her brother-in-law Bruce Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Rick Johnson (Patty) of Florida, Vicky Harris (Tony) of Florida, Kris Wisnieski (John) of Florida, David Johnson (Diana) of Indiana, Randy Johnson (Ronda) of Indiana, Theresa Watts (Randy) of Florida and Carla Elliott of Indiana; and her sisters, Marie Thompson of Connecticut and Sharon Pence (David) of Marion. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
