He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. McIlwain and Florence H. "Helen" McIlwain (Jarvis); his sister Debbie McIlwain; his aunts, Neysa McIlwain and Betty Butler; and his grandparents, Robert and Eleanor McIlwain.
He is survived by: his sister Rhonda Dean; his niece Lauren Dean (Aaron Penrod); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nash, Delilah and Nolan Penrod.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at the Grant Memorial Park (1606 W 26th St, Marion, IN 46953).
