He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert C. H. Woodard and Charlotte Wallace (Bridgham); and his stepparents, Edith C. Woodard and Donald Wallace. He is survived by: his wife Lucy M. Rice; his sisters, Linda Woodard of Cape Porpoise, Diane Woodard Dynia of Hamden and Elizabeth Margolis-Pineo of Portland, Maine.; his children, Jeffrey Riddle, Deanna Riddle, Barbara Wilson (Jerry Matheny) and Jo Ann Cora; his grandchildren, Tomika, Tony Gibson, Jamie Cora, James Cora, Latisha Watkins, Amber Gray, Joe Marshall, Jimmy Moore and Michael Underwood (Linsey); and his close friend Cartier Tasby. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
