She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lyons and Ann Lyons (Treadway); her spouse Carroll Cobb; and her siblings, Sidney Lyons, Kermit Lyons and Bobbie Louise Clarkston.

She is survived by: her daughters, Bethany Roper (Gregory) of Muncie and Linda Cobb of Madison, Tennessee; and her granddaughters, Brianna Shufelt (Elijah Roper) and Frances.
