He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bob Purvis and Albert Purvis; his half-brother Jack Purvis; and his son Delbert Twichell. He is survived by: his wife Willowdean Bishir; his daughters, Shirley Cox (Lester), LaFontaine, Arlena McGrew, Mary Tomlinson and Marion; and his sister Jeananne of Kokomo. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
