He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Mack Goins and Elizabeth Ann Laypoole (Moon); and the mother of his children Brenda K. Wilder. He is survived by: his wife Debra S. Goins of Marion; his children, Stacy Goins of Noblesville and Brian James Goins of Indianapolis; his siblings, David Goins of Dale, Mike Goins of Marion, Jeff Goins of Marion, Kevin Laypoole of Marion and Carol Edwards of Marion; and his close friends, Clyde Dublin of Marion and Noel Learned of Wabash.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
