He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren Tinkle and Pauline Tinkle (Stevens); and his siblings, Helen and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Jean Tinkle (Benfield); his children, Paula Peeper of Garrett and Jerry Tinkle of Converse; his grandsons, Brian Peeper (Summer) of Fort Wayne, Kevin Peeper (Kari) of Fort Wayne and Eric Peeper of Garrett; his brother Verne Tinkle (Judy) of Marion; and his stepchildren, Brenda Fields (Stephen) of Marion, Karen Creech (William) of Marion and James D. Stapleton of Marion. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
