He was predeceased by: his father Harry William Scott; and his sister Kay Lange of Marion, IN. He is survived by: his mother Hester Berniece "Bea" Scott (Pence); his wife Karen Scott (Papke); his children, Billie Fouts, Angela Scott of Tipton, IN, Harry William "B. J." Scott III, Donovan Scott (Jolaine) of Qualicum Beach, BC and Clayton Scott (Jacqueline) of Kokomo, IN; his grandchild Madison Bullard (Elijah) of Indianapolis, IN; and his sisters, Connie Hartenbower (David) of Laguna Niguel, CA and Linda Johnson (Harry) of Checotah, OK.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wood Wind Golf Course Pavilion (2302 W 161st St, Westfield, IN 46074).
