He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Dale "W. D." and Hilda Glass (Kepler); his wife Susan J. Glass (Wagner); his son James "Jimmy" E. Glass, II; his brother Larry Joe Glass (Patti); and his grandson Gregory R. Glass.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory S. Glass (Bona) of Marion, Sherry De Mott (Miguel) of Upland and Linda Marsh (Ray) of Nolensville, TN; his daughter-in-law Lori Carter Glass Wolfe (Jay) of Andrews; his siblings, Harold "Gene" E. Glass of Charleston, SC and Jane Ann Strader of Santa Fe, IN; his grandchildren, Dereck Rutledge (Ashlee) of Hartford City, Darren Rutledge of Van Buren, Timothy Glass of Marion, Naomi Loocke (Chris) of Nolensville, TN and Rachel Wirtner (Jeremy) of Greenwood; and his great grandchildren, Dallas Rutledge, Dillon Rutledge, Karter Rutledge, Ezra Wirtner, Daphne Rutledge and Juliette Loocke.
