He was predeceased by: his mother Judith Shady (Ross). He is survived by: his father Donald Shady; his wife Nicole Shady (Canten); his daughters, Kayetlin Shady and Maggie O'Connell (Jimmy) of Fort Wayne; his siblings, Roger Shady (Karin) and Julie Thompson (Tim) of Poneto; his father-in-law Tom Canten (Belinda) of Marion; and his close friends, Zeus and Mila. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
