He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest C. Richards and Helen F. Richards (Wiley); and his brother Toby Dean Richards. He is survived by: his wife Sue Richards (Gossett); his children, Julie Hix (Ronald) of Marion and Andrew Richards (Michelle) of Manistee, MI; his grandson Trevor Hix (Laura Markley); and his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Hix, Simon Hix (Amanda) and Rachel Hix. He is also survived by two step-great-grandchildren; and ten nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to First Christian Church, 1970 N. Wabash Rd., Marion, IN 46952.
