She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sproat and Ottley Louise Sproat (Brown); and her siblings, Cena, Mary, Margaret, Dorothy, Roberta, William, James, John and Russell.
She is survived by: her children, David Spencer (Nicki) and Brenda Oyler (late Maurice); and her grandchildren, Barry Spencer and Cali Hiles.
