He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Messer and Jeraldine Messer (Howe); his father-in-law Delmar Rector; and his nephew Chad Powell. He is survived by: his wife June A. Messer of Marion; his children, Brian Hendrix (Monica) of Kokomo, Rachel Messer of Indianapolis and Aaron Messer (Jordan Kasuboski) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Cash Hendrix, Laken Messer, Isla Messer and Denny June Kasuboski-Messer; and his siblings, Linda McNutt (Gene) of Marion and Bill Messer (Karen) of Kokomo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
