With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Laurie Virginia Knight of Marion, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parent Lester Robert; her husband Clifton P. Knight; her sisters, Mary Jane Wirey and Betty Bernice Williamson; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Rains; her nephew Sergeant First Class Collin J (Bowen); and her pets, Auggie, Cassie and Bubbie.
She is survived by: her sister Jetty Spainhour of Noblesville; her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Smith, Patricia Peterson (Bruce), Cindy Patton (Ed), Steve Williamson, Gary Knight (Lynn), Vincent Knight (Lisa) and Steve Knight (Susan); her nephews, Aaron Knight (Tikisha), Chad Adamson, Kevin Knight (Layne), Robert Wirey (Lisa), Steve Williamson and Joseph Williamson; her great-nephew Cole Knight; her great-niece Keira Knight; and her friend Becky Horn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
