He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Bosworth (Minnick) and William Frank Bosworth; his former wife Jane Mansbarger Bosworth; his siblings, Gladys, Robert and Frank; and his pet Charlie.
He is survived by: his wife Joan S. Cardwell; his children, Keith Shaffer (Alicia) of Hudson, FL, Barbara Bosworth of Bicknell, Kristina Junkersfeld (Ed) of Alexandria, Christina Warner (Dean) of St. George, UT and Stacey Kelch (Sheri) of Glouster, OH; his great grandchildren, Adam Shaffer (Melissa), Savannah Shaffer (Jesse Zielesch), Perry Hovermale IV (Hannah), Perry Hovermale, Brady Hovermale, Brooke Erikson (Hayden), Gabriel Hovermale, Cole Hovermale, Keira Martin, Amelia Erikson, Hawkins Erikson, Calen Kelch, Alexis Junkersfeld and Ripley Zielesch; and his siblings, Vernon Bosworth (late Rita), Ed Bosworth (Carol), Lilly Beams (Robert) and Nitta Felver (Robert). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1465 E Bradford St, Marion, IN 46952). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Marion National Cemetery (1700 E 38th St, Marion, IN 46953).
