Though Loren may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Loren leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his mother Cayula Carpenter (Starks); and his wife Viola Rosezella Goens. He is survived by: his father Irvin Carpenter; his children, Penny Martin, Tara Nicodemus and Timothy Marsee (Monica); and his sister Ada. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
