He was predeceased by: his parent Kathleen Whelan (Mange); and his brothers, Derek Richey and Bill Richey. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Richey (Mahoney); his children, Daniel Richey (Trisha) of Marion, Eric Richey (Melissa) of Tennessee and Star Richey of Florida; his grandchildren, Jase, Christian, Dominic, Joseline, Angel, David and Chris; and his siblings, Alan Richey, Randy Richey and Teresa Ramirez. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel (1606 W 26th St, Marion, IN 46953). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
