She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Heuer and Edith Heuer (Horner); her husband Homer Pennington; and her brothers, Bert Heuer (Flo) and Arnold Heuer (Liz).

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Snodgrass of Marion, Candy Labbate (Frank) of Tarpon Springs, FL and Peggy Abromaitis of Toms River, NJ; her grandchildren, Sherry Teagle (Ryan) of Marion, Shannon Chesshir of Terre Haute, Athena Labbate (Dominic) of Tarpon Springs, FL, Shana Labbate of Tarpon Springs, FL, Demi Abromaitis of Washington, DC, Nino Labbate of Tarpon Springs, FL and Gavin Snodgrass; her great grandchildren, Reese Teagle, Dauston Chesshir, Miles Teagle and Anniston Chesshir; and her niece Melody Heuer Harms (Joe) of Hendersonville, NC..
