With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Carmin of Marion, Indiana, born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on February 8, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cipriano Velasquez and Maria Velasquez (Correa); her siblings, Mary Lou Futrell, Josephine Knight (Fred), Mercedes Velasquez, Connie Gause, Albert Velasquez (Carmen), Pete Velasquez (Phyllis), Lupe Velasquez (Gloria), Raymond Velasquez and Larry Velasquez; and her son-in-law Jeramy Bishop.
She is survived by: her daughters, RegGina Mattis (Mike) of Carmel and Tonya Bishop of Marion; her grandchildren, Caleb McVay, Gavin McClanahan, Ainsley Mattis and Lainey Mattis; her brother Danny Velasquez (Ruth); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Velasquez and Janice Velasquez.
