She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldrick Smith and Liza Smith (Barber); and her siblings, Shelby Smith, Margaret "Dean" Lee and Sandy Craft (Danny).

She is survived by: her husband Perry "Pete" Herring, Sr.; her son Perry Herring, Jr. (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Makayla Herring Morgan (Zach) and Blake Maloy (Tawny); her great grandchildren, Saxon Maloy and Sophie Morgan; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Smith and Jim Lee. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
