He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lydia, Callie, Ella, Ethan, Tallie, Margaux, Caz, Isabel and Chael "Michael"; his wife Brenda Schadler; his children, Scott Shaffer (Jennifer), Brooke Hundt (Nathan) and Justin Schadler (Melinda); and his siblings, David Schadler (Teresa), Karen Pinkston (David) and Cindy Hohman.
