He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Paul Jentes and Esther Jentes (Schmid); his son-in-law Mark Neal; and his grandson Evan Douglas Jentes. He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Jentes (Chittenden) of Marion; his children, Jim Jentes (Kris) of Wooster, OH, Laurilyn Neal of Marion, IN and Doug Jentes (Kim) of Marion, IN; his grandchildren, Stefany Clayborn (Kelsey), Kimberly Stevens (Josh), Jeremy Clayborn (Laura), Garrett Jentes (Jenn), Emma Lopshire (Wilson) and Avery Jentes; his great grandchildren, Trevin Johnson, Kaiden McCollum, Dylan Stevens, Gabriel Clayborn, Gunner Stevens, Cash Stevens, Wyatt Lopshire and Walker Lopshire; and his brother Dr. John Jentes (Joy) of Ohio.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church (2015 County Rd 300 W, Marion, IN 46953). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
