He is survived by: his son Andrew Sargent of Gas City; his granddaughter Shelby Sargent of Indianapolis; his siblings, Judi Harvey (Bruce) of Jonesboro, Rick Sargent of Gas City and Lynn Sargent (Lisa) of Des Moines, IA; and his stepson Jon Hawkins of Marion. He is also survived by four nephews; and two nieces.
