She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Mitchell and Elsie Mitchell (Kirk); her husband Robert Whitlock; and her siblings, Berndean Mitchell, Bonnie Himelick and Billie Eaton.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Ellen McAtee (Kerry) of Ft. Wayne and Todd Mitchell Whitlock (Carol) of Bloomington; and her grandchildren, Clay McAtee, Anna Smith (Michael), Thomas Whitlock, Anne Whitlock, Courtney Ladyman, Katie Ladyman and Brian Ladyman.
