She is survived by: her daughter Sia M'Bayo of Marion; her stepson Tamba M'Bayo, Jr.; her grandchildren, Elijah Jessup and Kelia M'Bayo; her siblings, Roni Nevels, Ray Nevels, Reggie Nevels (Vickie), Terry Nevels and Robin Nevels Johnson; and her close friends, Tamba M'Bayo, Helen Pettiford, Jackie Jones, Deborah Moore Taylor, Da'Nilah, Fouce, Jennifer Burks (Fremont) and Aiylah Johnson.
