He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Leighty and Goldie Leighty (German); his wife Sharon (McFall) of Marion; his children, Kipp Hyatt (Jeff) of Kokomo, Dr. Chad Leighty (Sandy) of Marion and Kelly Combs; his grandchildren, Matthew Hyatt (Laura), Tory Minix (Bryson), Lauren Tinkel, Krista Black (Julian), Emily Hendrickson, Kyndra Combs and Jenna Combs; his great grandchildren, Leighton Tinkel, Jackson, Finn Robert Hyatt, Jameson, Penelope Minix and Olivia Black; his sister Betty Musser; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Arslanian (Dave) and Millie Brost.
