Robert Mallison Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Mallison Sr. of Marion, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Mallison and Bessie Mallison (Pickthorn); and his wife Donna Rose Mallison. He is survived by: his children, Robert Mallison, Jr. (late Norma) of Marion, Debra Parker (Philip) of Marion, IN, James Mallison (Lisa) of Ironwood, MI, Terri Bird (late Robert) of Freeport, MI, Howard Clawson (June) of Wakefield, MI, Sherri Taggart (Glenn) of Spencer, TN and Julie Mallison (late Linda) of Ironwood, MI.. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, a few great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Marion National Cemetery (1700 E 38th St, Marion, IN 46953). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Back Creek Wesleyan Church (10971 S E 00 W, Fairmount, IN 46928). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
