He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnel Griffith and Julia Griffith (Welsh); his siblings, Howard, Doris, Marybelle and Ruby; his grandson Hoyt Olsen; and his daughter Denise.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Marie Solms; his children, Diana May, Linda Wheat (Glen), Susan Logan, Paula Smithson (Mike), Ronald Griffith (Pam) and Michael Griffith (Trina); and his grandchildren, Bryan Griffith (Tammy), Harmony Younce (Steve), Brandon Logan (Tara), Chad Logan (Alexandria), Matt Kory (Andrea), Michael Kory (Bonnie), Kyle Griffith (Lezley), Skyler Griffith (Matty), Zachary Griffith (Jami) and Ethan Griffith (Tiffany). He is also survived by great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel (400 E Main St, Gas City, IN 46933). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (325 E North A St, Gas City, IN 46933).
