It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theodore R. Monts of Marion, Indiana, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Theodore departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Theodore may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Theodore leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Monts and Gertrude Monts (Goss); and his son Rex Allen Monts. He is survived by: his children, Paula K. Cutrubes (John), Leslie E. Conaway (Angie) and Devlin L. Bragg. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five siblings.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel (2722 S Washington St, Marion, IN 46953).
