It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thurman Amos (Marion, Indiana), who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Thurman Richard and Mary Lou Amos (Lynch); his wife Mary Marie Taylor; his daughter Stacy Dunning; and his sister Karen Tudor.

He is survived by : his children, Matthew Taylor (Amanda) of Marion, Larry Amos (Carrie) of Albany, Jill Dishman (J. D.) of Gas City and Angel Moore of Marion; and his siblings, Larry Amos (Kathy) of Elwood and Barbara Randolph (Kenneth) of Tennessee. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 30th 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Raven-Choate Funeral Home (1202 W Kem Rd, Marion, IN 46952). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 30th 2021 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Swayzee Church of the Nazarene, 2560 S. 800 West, Swayzee, Indiana 46986; or to the Marine Corps League Tripoli Detachment #844, C/O Conrad Heslin, P.O. Box 193, Swayzee, Indiana 46986.
