He is survived by: his wife Janice Smith of Marion; and his siblings, Charlie (Lola Smith), Carol (Leon Ebert), Roger (Patty Smith), Tim Smith of Frankton, Darrell Smith of Huntington, Brian (Tya Smith) and Gary (Tonya Smith). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Lighthouse of Bunker Hill and/or the Miami County Animal Shelter.
