We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, at the age of 81, Dwight Emerson James of Markle, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman James and Nora James (Riggs); his brothers, Garl James and Richard James; and his granddaughter Emily James.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou James (Griffin) of Markle; his sons, Brian (Sheri James), Kevin (Deb James) and Keith (Melissa James); his brother Ron James; and his grandchildren, Brad James (Kalyn), Derik James, Nick James (Alex), Isiak James (Kaitlynne), Jackson James (Morgan), Makayla Carlson (Sean), Griffin James, Erika James, Maria James and Flint James.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glancy H. Brown & Son Funeral Home (203 N Matilda St, Warren, IN 46792). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at the Jones Cemetery.
