He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman James and Nora James (Riggs); his brothers, Garl James and Richard James; and his granddaughter Emily James.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou James (Griffin) of Markle; his sons, Brian (Sheri James), Kevin (Deb James) and Keith (Melissa James); his brother Ron James; and his grandchildren, Brad James (Kalyn), Derik James, Nick James (Alex), Isiak James (Kaitlynne), Jackson James (Morgan), Makayla Carlson (Sean), Griffin James, Erika James, Maria James and Flint James.
