He was predeceased by: his mother Joann Eley (Sutton); and his grandparents, Martin, Ruth Eley (Evans), Frank and Dorothy Sutton (Shull).
He is survived by: his father Richard Eley of Portland; his sons, Deven Franks and Thad M. Eley, Jr.; his stepchildren, Amber Snider, Robert Snider, David Harper and Jeri Harper; his brother Todd Eley (Shawna); his grandson Drayse Eley; his stepgrandchildren, Braxton Neveah, Logan and Liam; and his sibling's children, Evan Eley, Clayton Eley, Madison Eley, Draven Eley and Ashley Franklin.
